The British Property Awards provide agents throughout the UK with an invaluable opportunity to compare the service that they provide against the service provided by their local, regional and national competition.

THE BRITISH PROPERTY AWARDS are one of the most inclusive estate agency awards providers as they do not charge to enter. This has enabled their award to be structured in a manner that ensures maximum participation, on average judging over 90% of agents that meet their minimum criteria on a local level. The team personally mystery shops every estate agent against a set of 25 criteria to obtain a balanced overview of their customer service levels. The judging criteria is both comprehensive and detailed exploring different mediums, scenarios and time periods to ensure that agents have been rigorously and fairly judged. Robert McLean from The British Property Awards said “Our awards have been specifically designed to be attainable to all agents, removing common barriers to entry, such as cost, to ensure that we have the most inclusive awards. Our awards have also been designed to remove any opportunity for bias or manipulation. If an agent has been attributed with one of our awards, it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels that they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time. Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition”.

NORTH DEVON HOSPICE NIGHT WALK 2024!
Claire, Teresa and Kate at Chequers Estate Agents, Barnstaple are looking forward to popping on their walking shoes and taking part in the night walk. This year truly is a special time as we celebrate 40 amazing years of care delivered by the North Devon Hospice, a truly amazing charity.
The event will gather women and girls to walk a choice of routes between Barnstaple, Bideford and Instow to raise money for North Devon Hospice.
Claire, Teresa and Kate, cant wait to get their groove on in a funky outfit and dance the night away, all while helping to support our amazing hospice.
Any Support and donation via our go fund page – Kate Worner is fundraising for North Devon Hospice (justgiving.com) would be kindly appreciated.

Chequers Estate Agents are delighted to announce that Toby Dowding has joined their team!
Toby has a wealth of estate agency experience and local knowledge spanning over 20 years, helping clients buy and sell a variety of properties, ranging from one bed apartments to multi-million-pound dream homes!
Toby’s attraction to joining Chequers Estate Agents, was the friendly, personal, and professional approach to helping clients, from the initial instruction right through to completion day!
Not only this, but also is excited about the developments within the business and long term plans ahead. He is confident it will become the leading estate agent within the local area, helping the people of North Devon with all their property matters, whatever their requirements and stages of their property journey and life.
Toby lives locally where his two children were raised and enjoys everything North Devon has to offer. This includes the gorgeous rolling countryside and pretty villages, stunning coastlines and fabulous beaches, where you will often see him walking his dog called Ash!
He is not a 9-5 estate agent, so you will often find him working out of ‘normal’ working hours, to help clients and to fit in with their lifestyles.
